John Barnett has been having fun in the film and tv business for 50 years.

He has had lots of highs, and a few lows (we call those lessons learned), on a journey which has incorporated Film and TV production, film + video distribution, artist management, establishing multiplexes and building entertainment businesses.

And for 25 years until 2015, he ran and owned South Pacific Pictures Ltd, New Zealand’s largest TV and film production house.

Having sold his interests in South Pacific he has set up Endeavour Ventures Ltd, returning to his roots as an independent Producer with a current slate of movies and tv series and he is actively involved with a range of charitable and industry organisations.

98.5% of all people in New Zealand have seen a programme produced by John (some people don’t have TV or go to the movies!)
